DETAILS

Creating a home a lot to do with discovering elements that convey a sense of place. Investigating these basic ideas relegates "style" to something of a side issue. This is not to say that style isn`t fun or even useful. But it is ultimately more important to find out what you really like, the unique combination of space, light, colour and materials which will continue to refresh your spirits long after the latest "look" has had its day.

GARDEN

Home is the heart of life...the place you live in has to accommodate a broad range of activities, from sleeping to cooking, washing to relaxing. For the daily routine to be comfortable and enjoyable, home must function well in each of these spheres...

What is a good design?

Is good design simply what the majority of people believe to be good design, or is it something that can be measured or scored objectively?

What do we mean by "good"?... What do we mean by "design"?...

-good design is one that involves you, the client in every step. More then ever, good design impacts our life, our environment and our well being.

There are no objective standards in design and decoration.

What is airy and uplifting to one person is spartan and brutal to another; one person`s cosy clutter may be someone else`s visual indigestion. What we do share, despite all our differences, is a vocabulary of proportion, arrangement and decorative practice.

The familiar traditions, developed over the centuries, shape the way we look at our surroundings and affect our expectations, however unconsciously; they aren`t easy to ignore.

-What I have learned after designing and decorating homes is that every client has his own dream and vision. My role is to interpret and expand upon this foundation idea and create an interior solution unimaginable by that client, yet perfectly what they need.
